Meetings are held at the LGBT Wave of Hope community center in Mobile AL. To get connected and recieve postings about the meetings, go to Facebook.
Gulf Coast Trans* Responders
Our immediate goal is to identify and address resource access problems in our area by collecting and disseminating information useful to the trans* community. We are a not for profit organization and welcome volunteers. If you know about a service or have an experience with a local agency PLEASE post it to the Wall or use the Discussion Board to post detailed information so that it is available to all. The administrators will periodically organize the Information into the "Notes", so that it more easily accessed and shared. ANY INFORMATION is valuable. Our longer term goal is to establish safe spaces and render assistance to trans people in this geographic region.
