Founded 2011, LGBT Wave of Hope is the community center to further progress the growth and connections of the LGBT community in Mobile, AL, and surrounding areas.

The board of LGBT Wave of Hope is committed in continuing our outreach to provide education, information and services to the Mobile, AL, LGBT community. We are inclusive to ALL.

Teams have been started in these areas.

• Capital Campaign Fund  - To raise money for the future goal of purchasing a community center.
• Trans* Resource - Our immediate goal is to identify and address resource access problems in our area by collecting and disseminating information useful to the trans* community. We are a not for profit organization and welcome volunteers.
• Student Network - Working with other non-profits to create GSA support for our universities, colleges and high schools.
• Event Planning - Organized fundraising for the commnity center operational needs. Planning of "Q" Ball, the Gay/Straight Alliance Prom for our univertisity and college GSA groups.
• Medical Info - Providing a ongoing gay friendly directory for the medical needs of the community.
